Three Artists of FM Records, the soprano singer Manja Vlachogianni, the Electronic Music composer AURAL FRAGMENT and the Instrumental Music composer Konstantinos Papoutsis join their artistic power and inspiration for this innovative music collaboration.
Manja Vlachogianni got her Piano Diploma with distinction and also the first prize for Excellence and Exceptional Performance by the National Conservatory of Athens at the age of 17. She continued her piano studies at the Richard Strauss Konservatorium (Munich) while she attended classes of Monody and Musical Theater Performance. She studied also at the Musikhochschule Dresden and took acting courses at the Drama School of H.D.Trayer. She sang successfully in more than 160 musical theater performances in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. At the age of 24 years she was given the position of Deputy Director at the State Music School of Munich Sing und Musikschule Garching. Since 2007 she lives in Athens, is a close partner and performer at the Porto-Heli International Festival of Art and Culture and participates in Theater and Music Theater productions. She wrote also a book that inspired the new Greek Musical Asteri tis Erimou – Nalimar. She has already four digital releases by FM Records: Otan milane oi aisthiseis (Ft. Vasilis Asimakopoulos) and Stigmes (Music by Balsam7teen, Lyrics by Manja Vlachogianni), the album Manja – A Musical Dream (Ft: Vasilis Asimakopoulos), the album Mythos 90: Mikis Theodorakis by AYRAL FRAGMENT and also the E.P You’ll be by my side (InSideOut/XRC RECS USA).
Konstantinos Papoutsis studied classical music (piano, violin, theory, harmony, scoring and counterpoint). He started writing music and songs by the age of 16 and took part in several contests in Greece and abroad. In 1998 he cooperated with the local Theater of Serres and composed music for two theatrical plays. In 2011 and 2012 he took part to a European song and composing contest and won the 8th and 2nd place at the same time. In 2013 in the 11th international contest of composing he won the 2nd prize with his soundtrack Silver lake (Music for Cinema) and simultaneously the 2nd prize (Electronic Music) with his soundtrack Time trap. In 2014 his first music work came into public by FM Records, with the title Silver Lake, which consists of the three music songs Rainy day, Silver Lake and Time Trap. In 2014 Konstantinos presented his first musical performance Journey to Silver Lake in the Central Theater of Serres (Greece). He participated in the 4th International Competition for Composers & Soloists of the Chamber Orchestra of New York (The Respighi prize) and made also the music for a documentary film about Lake Kerkini.
In 1996 Giorgio Lazarou – composer, producer and sound engineer – began his journey in electronic music. Affected and inspired by artists before him, he started binding together different sounds and musicians creating a special distinctive sound (AURAL FRAGMENT).
AURAL FRAGMENT have already five digital album releases by FM Records: Landscapes Part I, ΙΙ, ΙΙΙ & Return to Space Part I and the album Mythos 90: Mikis Theodorakis, a modern take on some of the greatest moments of the great Greek composer.
