Manos Loizos (Alexandria, 22 October 1937 - Moscow, 17 September 1982) was a Greek composer, one of the most important of his time. In late 1961 and early 1962 he participated in an initiative to form the Association of Friends of Greek Music. In the spring of 1962 he was employed by Mikis Theodorakis as the choir director of the Association of Friends of Greek Music in the performances of Omori Polis.
